Meet the Providers
DR. KEVIN KURIAKOSE, MD
Dr. Kuriakose was born and raised in New York.  He received his medical education in Europe where he also met his wife.  He completed his Pediatric Residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, and had the honor as serving as Chief Resident.  He followed his passion for medicine and completed his Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York.
After his training, Dr. Kuriakose joined the faculty at Stony Brook Long Island Children’s Hospital as a Pediatric Pulmonologist for the Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine, Allergy/Immunology, and Cystic Fibrosis Center in New York.  He was admirably known by his staff and children he cared for as “Dr. K”.
During the next couple of years Dr. K served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics for Stony Brook School of Medicine and was involved in academic training for medical students, Residents and Fellows.  
In November 2011, he relocated to Florida with his wonderful wife, who is a Family Physician and his 2 energetic children and joined the CLASS Team.  In 2015, he became the Medical Director for the Children’s Lung, Asthma and Sleep Specialists (CLASS).  He remains involved in the training of future pediatricians by actively participating in resident teaching for the Florida Hospital Pediatric Residents. He is involved in continuing medical education for community pediatricians.  He has recently collaborated with the American Academy of Pediatrics for a book publication on Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine.  He has been asked to hold a workshop for pediatricians for the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference and Expo.
