The practices performs flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy at a variety of hospitals across the state of Florida. We typically performed bronchoscopies in patients with a history of prolonged and persistent cough, patients with cystic fibrosis, patients with a history of stridor and suspected airway abnormalities, and occasionally patients with pneumonias. In cases where foreign bodies are strongly suspected a rigid bronchoscopy is recommended and this is typically performed by ENT ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists.
